Review of a pair of MLP Episodes

"Non Compete Clause"

This is throughly not a very good episode. It just feels like Applejack and Rainbow Dash are forgetting their past lessons. They went through this very same type of thing against each other back in season 1, and off and on since then. It was good having the school 6 as the main foils to AJ/RD. It didn't really have any redeeming qualities, aside from the 6 realizing that RD and AJ actually did a good job in the end. HOWEVER, that did not redeem this episode AT ALL. It still was probably the worst episode of the season thus far.

"The Break Up Breakdown"

This was a much better episode than the previous. It really showed how much that Big Mac cares for Sugar Belle. Discord was a riot in this episode, with all the visual gags that we all know and love in those episodes he is in. The writing was good, a nice pace to it. It wasn't rushed until the end of the episode. Having the CMC as the subplot here was a good idea. Anyway, it was a good episode overall. DIscord's visual gags and Big Mac acting out of his character made this episode pretty good.
